How to apply

We are delighted to announce we can offer another fellowship in 2023 – thanks to the strong fundraising help by Colin Brown in summer 2022.

If you are a female graduate under the age of 28 from an EU country and with the aim to work in EU journalism in Brussels, please send a dedicated motivation letter and your CV in English, stating your date of birth and nationality, at the following email address: candidate@lenaic.eu.

We will get back to all short-listed candidates as soon as possible after submitting the application and kindly thank you for your patience in advance.

Applications for the 8th Lénaïc Fund for Quality Journalism fellowship are now closed.

The next (eighth) placement will run from the beginning of March 2023 to  summer 2023. All details will be discussed and agreed with the future fellow.

General procedure: After submitting the application, a small group of finalists (short-listed candidates) will be selected by our selection committee. We will invite all short-listed candidates to an interview, usually taking place in Brussels. The final choice of the young female journalist(s) to receive the bursary award will subsequently be made by the organising committee, composed of Lénaïc’s parents, Aulde and Charles Vaudin d’Imécourt, and a small jury from the media outlet the fellow will join.

Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions – by sending an email to info@lenaic.eu.
