I imagine that today other young female journalists across Europe are asking themselves similar questions, as the deadline for the fourth Lénaïc Fellowship is approaching this week. If you’re one of them, let me give you three main reasons why I am convinced it was a great call – if your doubts are stopping you from applying, you might miss out on a truly amazing adventure.
My last month on the fellowship has already begun and this precious time is about to come to an end. My first thought when I heard about the newly established Lénaïc Fund for Quality Journalism was: what a unique initiative to honour and remember a true talent that has left the world far too early.
My experience as the first recipient of the Lénaïc Fund for Journalism has come to an end and I have only positive things to say about these months. I perfectly remember the moment when I was told I had been selected.
